Happy to have a finished product that I can share for once. Music made for its own sake. Even so I hope you enjoy.

While I was working on this song I broke the high E string on my crappy guitar from de-tuning the strings too much. Luckily I was able to make the idea work the next day, and three-ish weeks later the song was done.

All the guitars on these tracks were preformed on a 5 string tuning: C♯, G♯, C♯, D♯, and G♯. This was so that I could play the strings open using a variety of techniques like hitting the head of the guitar with a rubber mallet or gently strumming with the broken high E string. I made the synths myself in VCV Rack (mainly using the Energy VCO from Geodesics). Drums were sequenced by hand using the midi kit built into cakewalk except for the hi-hat which was also from VCV Rack.
